Summer Haiku #2

Rough edged tree bark falls
Pulled unkindly by small hands
Looking for sweet sap

Rest in tree shade safe
From suns harsh rays and rough winds
Be still; peace comes soon

Rain hangs from leaf tip
See moon swelling like ripe fruit
Through the drop it falls
