Flow

When the breeze blows over the mountains
Rain clouds flow
a misty river forced up and over
white topped peaks
rushing down onto dry plains

Rain patters on the wheat fields
stirring the golden carpet
like a sea on a windy day;
listen hear the sound
of a million stalks of wheat
rustle together
while rain bends down their
fat ripe heads
