The Birth of Dragons

When the world was

Young and new

Three great dragons

Were hatched from

Three great comets

That fell to earth.

The great dragons

Were young like

The earth, and with

Boundless energy

They played and

Frolicked over the

Forming oceans

And the rising mountains.

Their mighty wings

Stirred the winds

And their great fire

Vaporized ocean waves

Forming the clouds

That rained down on

The lands which

Soon turned green

And lush.

All that is left of the

Great dragons is the

Echo of their roars

In the clap of thunder

And the crash of waves

And a reminder of the

Fierceness of their

Wing beats in the winds

That blow over the

Mountains they

Once sat upon

Before launching

Into the skies.
