Full Moon and the Dragons

Watch
When the full
Moon
Rises
It
Calls
Dragons
They come
From caves
By the oceans
From high
Plateaus
From deep
In hot
Deserts
They descend
From high clouds
Gathering
On the equator
As the moon
Rises
Their voices
Rising like
The moon
Thrumming
That you
You can feel
Through your
Breast bone
Vibrating through
To tiny tarsals in
Your feet
They swirl
Above the equatorial
Green sea
Great wings
Pulling vines and
Exotic species
Aloft with each sweep
Moon light seems
To power their
Flight as they
Now drift in lazy spirals
Round and round
They greet the dawn
With a roar and
Burst like an
Exploding rainbow
In all directions
Heading for
Far flung homes
